The Al2O3 content of Chinese clay is generally above 40%, while the Fe2O3 content is less than 2.0 ~ 2.5%.At high temperature, the clay brick is slightly acidic and it can resist the corrosion of acid slag and acid gas, but of low resistance to alkaline matters. It is of good thermal performance and good thermal shock resistance.With the increase of Al2O3 content, the thermal stability is better than that of silicon brick and magnesium brick.
