Definition:
Fire Clay Brick Light Weight​ containing Al2O3 30%~46% lightweight refractory products, chamotte or light clinker and plastic clay as main material, usually can be the combustible material production and formation of multihollow structure by chemical method or foam method. The bulk density of the commonly used lightweight clay brick is 0.75~1.20g/cm3, the compressive strength is 2.0~5.9Mpa, the thermal conductivity is 0.221~0.442W/m.k (1350°C ).

It is also used for high temperature load bearing parts of hot blast furnace and acid open hearth furnace top.
